The Beginning in Carlsbad
T.W. Hoehn, Jr. acquires the Oldsmobile dealership in Carlsbad, which features a small but growing Honda operation on the side lot. This modest Honda business would eventually become the cornerstone of our Carlsbad presence. Sons Bill and Bob join the family business post college, with their vision to expand the Honda franchise.
Expansion Begins
Honda’s success in Carlsbad accelerates, with the brand expanding into a dedicated new facility. This expansion marks Honda’s emergence as a primary focus for Hoehn Motors in North County, serving growing customer demand for reliable Honda vehicles.
Next Generation
Fourth generation Hoehns Ted, Jo Hannah, and Susanah enter the business post college.
